Beautiful Country Wedding with Krysta and Kevin

I am a bit behind on my blog post for this wedding. Last week was very busy for us. We headed out to Spruce Grove to the Holiday Inn Express for Krysta's getting ready photos. The room was a buzz with activity as the makeup artist, Amanda from Store Hair and Art was working on Krysta. The hairstylist, Caroline was standing by to do last minute touch ups and to help with putting on the cathedral length veil. The bridesmaids were all getting ready and Krysta's mom and grandma were there to help get Krysta and Kevin's daughter ready in her beautiful pink dress as well. The flower girl looked awesome in her homemade super hero dress. Oh, I guess I should mention that Krysta and Kevin had a super hero themed wedding. Krysta's dress was a beautiful one from David's Bridal.

After, we headed to Sandhills Community League Hall for the ceremony. Kevin looked dashing in his custom suit from Reign Suit Company - with a custom lining and "Batman" embroidered on his jacket cuff. The groomsmen also had custom vests. And they all had super hero socks.

They had a wonderful ceremony done by Terry Siemko. Right after the ceremony, the wedding party got into they limo provided by Platinum Limousines and we all headed to the U of A Botanic Gardens for their formal. It was an extremely hot day, but the entire wedding party were troopers and remained so much fun the entire time. I even joked that I was going to replace David with one of the maid of honours, Natalie as she helped with the veil and had some fantastic ideas as well - no surprise since she's an artist from Chiliwack, BC. But everyone knows I would never replace David :-)

Once the formals were done, we headed back to the hall for the reception. The meal was catered by Elegant Affairs Catering, who never fail to disappoint and the meal was delicious. The super hero cake adorned with Wonder Woman and Batman was made by The Art of Cake. The music for the evening was provided by Boomtown Sound.
