Last Saturday, David and I headed downtown to the Lee Pavilion at The Citadel to meet up with Kim and Gerry and their family to photograph their formal photos. What a beautiful group they were! Kim looked stunning in her dress from David's Bridal and Gerry was dashing in his Tuxedo from Derks. It was also such a beautiful day outside, that we decided to get some photos of just the two of them by The Art Gallery. After, we headed down by the Walterdale Bridge to get a few more shots of them before driving just up the road to the Edmonton Kinsmen Club for their ceremony which was officiated beautifully by Jody Dunlop. All the flowers were made by Kim. Their ceremony/reception had a theme based around the fact that Gerry has his private pilot's licence. Their co-emcee, Kevin was funny and kept the theme going. Co-emcee Tanya was a fantastic flight attendant/flower "person" and handed out snacks and beverages to the passengers - er, guests. We said our goodbyes after the ceremony so they could continue their reception with just family and a few close friends, but we can attest that the meal catered by Buttercup Bistro smelled amazing!
Thank you so much, Kim and Gerry for allowing us the honour of photographing your wedding day and for giving us such a great start to our 2023 wedding season!
