Beautiful Country Wedding with Kelley and Patrick on a Cold, Snowy Fall Day in Warburg

Last Saturday, David and I were off to Warburg area to photograph Kelley and Patrick's wedding on Kelley's parent's farm. It was such a beautiful location. They had to improvise at the last minute though due to the very weird winter-like weather. Kelley's Dad even started a bonfire right next to where the ceremony location to help keep everyone warm.

Kelley's dress was very detailed and beautiful from David's Bridal. Her hair was down and off to one side with beautiful curls and accented with a gorgeous clip. Her hair was done at The Parlour For Hair in Spruce Grove and her makeup by Osase at Shake Up That Makeup. All the ladies looked stunning. The bridesmaids were all in deep purple dresses with jean jackets and cowboy boots - so perfect for a country wedding. Patrick also looked so handsome in his brown jacket, jeans and cowboy boots while his groomsmen were in brown vests, jeans and cowboy boots. Kelley's flowers were amazing - I absolutely loved the purple! All the flowers were done by the talented Janette at Two B's Flowers in Warburg.

It was fantastic that the wet snow/rain decided to stop just in time for the ceremony and the wedding party were such troopers with the chilly temperatures. It was a beautiful ceremony officiated by Cody from the Alliance Church in Warburg. Both Kelley and Patrick wrote their own very touching vows. Cody tried to keep the ceremony shorter "judging by the goosebumps Kelley had."

After the ceremony, we went straight into formal photos and managed to get through most of them at the farm before the snow started again. There were so many beautiful spots to photograph it was hard to narrow it down so as to not freeze the wedding party too much. Despite the weather, the fall colours in the leaves were a gorgeous backdrop for photos. We then headed toward Calmar to Kelley's cousin's farm where they had a beautifully restored red barn (much to my delight - if you know me, you know I am crazy about barns) and got a few photos there as the snow came down. Understandably, this too was kept short due to wedding party freezing. We then proceeded to Garden Valley Hall near Spruce Grove to do family photos and the reception.

The hall was beautifully decorated with a country flair. The meals was delicious and catered by Sandy View Farms. The cake and cupcakes were made by Kelley and her sister, Rhonda. Mystica Entertainment kept the music playing and people up on the dance floor.
