Beautiful Wedding of Carianne and Travis at Hastings Lake Gardens & The Quarry Golf Club

On Saturday, David and I were off to Carianne's parents home to photograph her getting ready shots. All the girls were in the midst of getting their hair and makeup done when we arrived by Carianne's friend, Shay McNainy. We grabbed some shots of this and then went straight to work on photographing her dress and all the details. Wow! What a gorgeous dress with lots of detail - she chose it from David's Bridal. The flowers - oh how beautiful and the smell was so amazing. The florist was Funky Petals in Sherwood Park. After we got all the shots we needed, we headed out to Hastings Lake Gardens for the guys getting ready shots. The guys looked very handsome in their tuxes from Dirks. Their ceremony was very touchingly as they wrote their own vows and was officiated by Brian Napier - an officiant we have worked with in the past and think is awesome!

After a quick stop for a lunch break provided by Carianne, we did most of the formal photos at the gardens. The wedding party was amazing to work with. I was extremely impressed when I asked the guys to climb up on a very old tractor to do a guy shot! They were such good sports! The girls were just as awesome doing anything we asked without hesitation and were so much fun the entire day! After, we headed to a groomsmen's home who happened to have an amazing backyard which also backed onto a huge field. The dark clouds were coming in quickly and there were flashes of lightening and booms of thunder. We knew we had a very short window to grab the rest of the shots we wanted. I think we got some fantastic and unique shots for Carianne and Travis.

We then headed to The Quarry Golf club for their reception. What a beautiful place! The food was catered by The Quarry and was delicious. Carianne and Travis's wedding cake was done by Teresa's Custom cakes. It had a small cake on top surrounded by different flavours of cupcakes. DJ Kwake had everyone on the dance floor most of the evening pumping out the tunes.

We had such a great time photographing Carianne and Travis's entire day! Thank you so much to both of you along with your fantastic wedding party! David and I wish you so much happiness together!
