Last Sunday, David and I met with Jen and Mitch to photograph their maternity session.  Jen was due to have baby Hunter near the middle of June.  I was so surprised when I heard on Wednesday (just three days after their maternity session) that Jen and Mitch were now the proud parents of Hunter who decided to make an early appearance.  I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of Hunter at a mutual friend's birthday party on Saturday and got in a  good dose of baby holding time.  I also got to hear about how labour and delivery went.  Would you believe that Jen only had to push for five minutes and her doctor didn't even have a chance to make it there in time for the birth?  I only wish my deliveries could have gone that quickly.  Did I mention this is their first baby?  So, this past Sunday, David and I went to Mitch and Jen's home to photograph Hunter for his newborn session.  He is such a tiny bundle and he was the absolute perfect model for his newborn photos.  He slept for 90% of the photos and only needed some Mommy time once.  He was so poseable and I could have photographed him all day.  We got some photos of him with Mitch's bear he had as a baby and also in his hard hat.   Jen and Mitch are fantastic parents - congratulations to both of you!  Thank you so much for allowing us to share in this special time in your lives.
