Last night, David and I were out visiting the Michael's store at Terra Losa because I was on the hunt for a newborn prop I had seen on a website.  I am the first to admit, I have a newborn prop addiction.  When I go shopping, I always think, "will a newborn fit in that?"  I am constantly measuring things with the length of my forearm to see if a newborn will fit.  It is a good thing I was not a professional photographer when my children were babies or I would need a house just to store newborn props.  

Anyway, while we were in the parking lot, I spotted Yo Mama Maternity.  I know I had seen their store elsewhere in Edmonton and wanted to check it out and see if the owner was around.  Turns out we were in luck, she was.  The store is currently in a temporary location as their brand new spot is not quite ready, but it too will be in Terra Losa.  This store is awesome!  I wish they had been around when I was pregnant.  The clothes are adorable!!!!!  If you are pregnant and looking for cute maternity clothes at good prices - check this store out!!  

The owners are also moms, so they know all about being pregnant.  When we were there, she was helping a shopper with a sun dress.  The advice she was giving regarding the dress was honest.  They are not just out to sell, they actually want you to look and feel great as well!

They have some great ideas for their temporary location such as using their store space to host baby showers, and hosting other fun events for all you expecting moms out there.
