On Sunday, while I was still laid up in the hospital after major abdominal surgery, David headed off, solo again, to the University of Alberta to meet Kristal, Darren and their son, Julian to photograph Kristal's pregnancy.  David and I photographed Kristal and Darren's amazing country wedding last summer.  I was so excited when Kristal contacted us wanting us to photograph her pregnancy and newborn!  With the weather being a bit iffy, it was decided that the photos would be done at Convocation hall at the University of Alberta .  While waiting for Kristal and Darren, it started to pour.  David took a photo and sent it to me - and boy, was the rain coming down.  However, while doing some shots inside, it cleared up enough that David was also able to get them some great shots outside as well!  The grounds of the University are always so pretty in any season.  Julian got in on some shots during the session.  He looks like a very excited big brother to be!  I am sure he will be a big help when the baby comes!  Kristal is a glowing mom-to-be and looked very beautiful.  I can hardly wait until the baby comes and I will definitely be involved in photographing their newest addition!  Thank you, Kristal and Darren for continuing to allow us the honour of photographing the special moments in your lives!
