On Saturday, David and I went to meet Katie and Luke at the Muttart Conservatory to do their engagement session. It was an amazing warm day with no snow for November 7th! How many winter engagement sessions can you do in November where the couple and photographers can get away without wearing coats! For Katie and Luke, ringette plays a very important part in their early relationship, so they came up with this fantastic idea for their "Save The Date" cards involving using Ringette jerseys. They came prepared for this engagement session! They are such a fun couple to work with and we loved our session with them. We walked across into Louise McKinney park where we used a treed area to give a more country/rustic look to their photos and then over the foot bridge and hit a couple of our favourite spots in Louise McKinney park.
We will be capturing their special day next July and I am so excited that their day will include photos at a grain elevator, railway tracks and possibly some old buildings! That is definitely my kind of wedding!
Thank you, Katie and Luke for allowing us to photograph your engagement photos and for such a fun session!
