The past Saturday, my son, Cameron and I met one of my favourite families at Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park for their yearly photos. I have been photographing this family for over 13 years and have been fortunate enough to watch Marie and Dagen's girls grow into beautiful, very well mannered young ladies. Every year Marie and I start planning for their next photo session immediately after the current one. This year I went with all brand new poses - because well, this family makes posing so easy. Every pose I give them, they make look amazing. A few years ago now, their border collie, Ella joined the family and she too makes posing her so easy. This year I could swear she knew exactly what we wanted her to do and did it perfectly. The one photo of Marie with the two girls, Ella just decided to join in on -so instead of the three ladies, it became the four ladies!
I have a personal project I want to work on in the near future and when I got the idea for it, Danika and Makena came immediately to mind. I am hoping that they will be willing to help me with it - they have the dance background needed for the project and they are truly wonderful to work with. Makena has already thought of a beautiful location for next year's photos and I am already brainstorming ideas for it.
Thank you so much Marie and Dagen for allowing David and I to photograph your amazing family every year. And, thank you so much to my oldest son, Cameron for helping me out so so much this summer while David has been unavailable.
