Last Saturday, David and I were off to Cheryl's daughter, Karlee's home in Sherwood Park to photograph Cheryl and Don's beautiful wedding. The rain clouds disappeared around noon and by the time their ceremony happened at 3 pm, the skies were a beautiful blue and the weather was absolutely perfect. Cheryl's dress from Urban Bridal Inc. was so pretty and the colour and style of both Karlee and Katie's dresses (Cheryl's daughters) were gorgeous. All three ladies looked stunning. Their hair was done by Nick Gaze at Concrete Blonde in Sherwood Park while their makeup was also done at Concrete Blonde. The yard was decorated absolutely beautifully including flowers from Kat Hutchison and Kiwi nurseries while the whole day was coordinated by both Katie and Karlee. The ladies bouquets along with the boutonnieres were from Shig's Flowers. Don's clothes were from Le Chateau. Their marriage commissioner, Kaye Steward performed a very touching ceremony including a hand ceremony that included both Cheryl's daughters and Don's son. Don adapted the usual hand ceremony for the family hand ceremony. Cheryl's best friend, Maxine was included in the ceremony by presenting Cheryl to Don at the top of the stairs.
We captured their family and formal photos in the beautiful backyard along with a few inside the house. Chef Sheridan was preparing the meal for the guests while David and I had Cheryl and Don pose with the wedding cake which had a Mexican theme to it (along with all the interior decorations). The cake was made by Triple L Cakes.
Thank you so much, Cheryl and Don for having us capture your wedding day!
