Amazingly Fun First Birthday Cake Smash With Bennett

On Sunday, David and I were off to Leduc to see Tasha, Greg and Bennett with his big brother, Kaileb. We photographed Bennett's newborn photos a year ago and were so thrilled when Tasha asked us to do his first birthday cake smash. Bennett's theme was monsters and Tasha had the cutest outfit for him along with an adorable cake and a friend of hers made the coolest monster "ONE."

It is not very often that a cake smash session goes as awesome as Bennett's. In fact, I think his was the best. He got right into it - starting with his foot and then continued to eat his way through the cake along with making a beautiful mess with it. He even ended up with cake on his eye which just looked so precious.

We are so pleased that we were invited to capture such a special moment and got to see all the messy smiles of Bennett enjoying his first birthday cake!
