Beautiful Hot Summer Wedding for Kara and Adam

Okay, so I am a little behind in posting this because I left for a road trip to Kelowna with my daughter shortly after Kara and Adam's wedding. and then came home and spent a week in bed not feeling well. So, I apologize. Luckily, Kara and Adam are some of the nicest, most easy going people ever. In fact, even a bridesmaid dress malfunction on the wedding day didn't even seem to rattle Kara. Everything worked out though when Kara's maid of honour came to the rescue having a brand new black dress in her closet that fit. The girls' hair and makeup was done by Beauty of DL. The beautiful flowers were created by Gayle at Champagne Bride on A Beer Budget. Don't you just love such creative names?

Kara looked stunning in her dress and she rocked all the poses we asked of her. She literally had the poise of a model. Thank you so much, Kara for making our job so easy! Also making the wedding day run so smoothly was their wedding planner, Debbie Nazurkewick. She was a dream to work with.

For their wedding ceremony, we headed to McClure United Church where Father Jim Lochhead performed a beautiful ceremony. And then it was off to the Legislative Grounds for the formals. It was a great day for photos and we got some great ones of Kara and Adam and their wedding party. All of whom looked amazing!

We headed to Delwood Community Hall for the reception. Dinner was catered by the always fantastic Accapella Catering. Their very elegant cake was made by More Than Sprinkles. The DJ from Boom Town Sounds did a great job of keeping everyone up dancing.
