Beautiful Wedding Photography with Florence and Gale

I'm a bit behind on this blog but the other weekend, David and I were off to the Holiday Inn on Gateway Blvd to photography Florence and her girls getting ready. The room was full of activity although hair and makeup had already been done at Rox Salon where Florence's niece works. We got some great shots for the girls including some special shots that Florence specifically wanted. The girls' flowers were so pretty and done by Florence's niece, Andrea Milne. Great job, Andrea!

The ceremony was also in the hotel in the Evergreen Ballroom. The room looked beautiful so nicely decorated. The ceremony was performed by Val Mileke and there was a very touching sand ceremony at the end that united both their families together which included their children. Oh and I cannot forget to mention that beautiful, unique blue wedding bands. So pretty!

After the ceremony we were off to the Alberta Legislature grounds to photograph the formals. It was a +30 day but the wedding party were real troopers getting the photos done in the heat. We had some fun at the end with Florence and Gale getting some shots that they suggested. And finished off with a great shot of Gale and Florence in front of Gale's phenomenal car, a gorgeous blue Nissan GT-R.

Back at the hotel, our fantastic Photo Booth lady, Julie was getting the photo booth started. I think everyone had a fun time as it was busy the entire evening. Thank you, Julie! We really appreciate how much fun you make it for the wedding guests. They really enjoyed it and you!

The cake was a cake topper and three different kinds of miniature cupcakes done by Sweet Gigi. The dance floor was busy thanks to Andrea with Teleproductions. And he did that despite how hot it was in the ballroom.
