Wow - I have been quite a bit behind in blogging.  That's not to say that we haven't been working.  At the beginning of the month, David and I were off to Las Vegas to attend the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International conference.  This is 5 days of very intense classes - starting at 8 in the morning and going until 8 at night with events after that.  In fact, this year we were also able to attend and photograph a wedding!  That was very cool!  Going to this conference helps keep us up on new products, new ideas in photography and also makes me aware of how important it is to be privileged to do the job we do.  We are not just creating memories for our clients, but also for their future children, grand children and even great grandchildren.  Being present in photographs is a legacy you will leave behind long after you are gone from this earth.  And capturing these precious moments is such an important job.  

That being said, it has always been my mindset that photography should be affordable.  So, we are keeping our Portrait session fees at $100 as well as our Opal package will remain the same price.  Our Maternity/Newborn packages have been lowered and revamped as have our Wedding packages!  So, if you know someone who is expecting or recently engaged, please let them know about us!  If they book with us, we will credit you with a complimentary portrait session!

If you go to our website, you will also notice that our colors have changed - one of the classes I attended mentioned how colors have a huge impact on the message you are trying to portray.  So, I googled the color teal and this is what it said, " it opens the lines of communication between the heart and the spoken word. It presents as a friendly and happy color enjoying life."  How beautiful is that?  What more could a photographer want to achieve than to touch the heart and capture people enjoying life?  At least that is how I look at it.  So, if you like our new design, let us know!  We would love your feedback.
