On Saturday, David and I were off to the Muttart Conservatory to meet with Heather and Kody for the first time. I felt like I already knew Heather as we had exchanged emails several times. They are from out of town, so they booked us for their fall 2017 wedding before they met us. It was an absolute perfect day for engagement photos. November 5th and no snow on the ground and the weather was fairly warm and best of all, the sky was overcast. As always, I had come up with some new ideas for this engagement session and in doing so, discovered a part of the Muttart Conservatory grounds that we had not used in the past. Who knew that there was a dove of peace statute on the grounds - well, apparently David did, but he neglected to share this detail with me until Saturday. We had so much fun with Heather and Kody and they were game for anything we asked them to do. I seem to recall that Heather even said she may climb a tree on her wedding day - although I am not sure I will hold her to that. These two make such a sweet couple and they are obviously so in love. Kody proposed to her in England! Although, I can't remember the exact location, I know it was on the water and at night - so romantic!
Thank you, Heather and Kody for allowing us the honour of capturing your engagement photos and for choosing us to capture your special day next fall.
