Last night, David and I photographed the newest addition to one of our wedding couple's from last year.  David photographed Kristal's maternity session while I was in the hospital back in April so I was pretty excited to be able to photograph baby Catherine.  Kristen and Darren drove in from Drayton Valley for their session.  Catherine was so tiny, she was only over 5 pounds when she was born.  Julian was such a good big brother.  He loved being near his baby sister and gave her kisses and wanted to hold her hand.  So sweet.  Catherine was wide awake for most of her session although she looked like she was fighting sleep the entire time.  At the end of the session, she finally drifted off to sleep in her carseat.  We got some great family shots as well as a lot of Catherine looking like she was sleeping - thanks to a team effort from David, Kristal and myself.  Good work, everyone!  I absolutely love our newborn sessions and being able to hold all these precious newborns - I am so lucky to have the career that I do.  Thank you, Kristal and Darren for allowing us to photograph these special moments in your lives.
