On April 25th, I was admitted to the hospital and on April 28th, I underwent major abdominal surgery.  So, on May 2nd, while I was still in the hospital, David headed out to Fort Saskatchewan to meet with Katie, Chris and Katie's mom, Margaret for their Katie and Chris' engagement session.  They first toured the church where Chris and Katie will be married, St. George's Anglican Church .  Chris and Katie both are puppeteers and, of course, it was important to include them in the session as well!  How fun is that!  Although I was not at the session, it looked like it was a fun session involving swings, old buildings, a gazebo and my favourite kind of fence!  Oh yes, and cowboy hats!  David and I will be photographing Katie and Chris' wedding on June 6th and we are very much looking forward to it.  It will be my first official day back to work after recovering from my surgery and I can hardly wait!  You can just see the love between Katie and Chris and they both are up for some fun in their photos as well, which makes for perfect wedding day photos!  Thank you, Katie, Chris and Margaret for trusting us with these special moments in your lives!
