| Being a mother of four, Candice knows the newborn stage well. It is one of her favourite stages and one to be treasured. Those tiny hands, tiny feet, little smiles while they sleep. All very precious and yet this stage of life goes by so quickly. Many of the "newborn" photographers that you hear about while still in the hospital after delivering your baby will come out between 6 and 8 weeks and take "posed" shots of just your newborn or if you have older children, they may take a couple shots of them individually as well. These posed shots usually make the baby look older than they actually are because they are posed in a position that is not natural at their age, held in place by the photographer and then the photographer moves his/her hand for ten seconds while the shutter clicks. Yes, some of the photos are cute, but they are not natural. Candice likes to celebrate the newborn stage and capture all the magic. Having the baby in shots with the mom and the dad to see the size difference between the parents hands and the baby's or the size of the wedding rings compared to the baby's foot. Even just having dad pose with his newborn cradled in his arms or having his newborn look up at him with curious eyes or the expression on mom's face as she gazes down at the newborn in her arms, are moments you will never want to forget. Candice knows how to capture all these moments and Stolen Moment Photography by Candice has created a package especially for this precious time which includes an album, grandparent photos and wallet-size photos so you can share these wonderful moments everyone near and dear to you. There are no hidden costs, no photographer coming back three weeks later and surprising you with the extraordinary cost of their packages while playing on your emotions by showing you all the proofs from the session. NEWBORN PACKAGE: $250.00 plus GST Includes: 1 - coffee table style ablum that can include up to 100 images 2 - 5 X 7's (usually given to grandparents) 20 wallet-size photos - you can choose all the same image or up to ten images (2 of each image) 2 - 8 X 10's 1 - 11 X 14 wall print with protective coating to guard against finger prints and sun damage. This session usually takes place in the comfort of your own home. Candice will bring a variety of props to enhance the photos and it is usually best if mom and dad wear black. Skin on skin shots with Dad and Baby also are wonderful shots. This session is usually done when the baby is 1 to 6 weeks old. Expecting a child? Combine a pregnancy package with the newborn package for only $120.00 more. A session in the studio with you and your husband any time between 34 and 38 weeks. Candice can then make beautiful collages for you of "while pregnant" and "newborn." In addition to receiving everything in the Newborn Package, you also receive 4 - 5 X 7's and 3 - 8 X 10's from your pregnancy session. The session is very private with just Candice and the two of you present and can include anything from just tummy shots to semi-nude and completely nude shots depending on your comfort level.
